Spring!!!

The daffodils are finished and the Dogwoods are budding, all the redbuds are just on the verge, it is a breezy 70 and I really think spring has sprung! Lola has not made as much progress as I wished in the training arena, it is like she is testing me or vying for more attention, she does "mistakes" right in front of me while watching to gauge my reaction! I have never had a puppy not train well except for the little poodle mix, who would wait til we got inside to poop!However then, in my younger days, I did not pay as much attention to anything, in fact you could say I was quite oblivious, and working all kinds of crazy hours I expected that!This however may require intervention! Maybe a puppy behaviorist, or psychiatrist, or a severe beating....She is however very charming with the guests, and is stealing all Belles thunder....and she loves the Skye dog to death, it is so adorable to watch them wrestle endlessly. So I am making progress on the winter projects, it was very hard this year to get any momentum going as it remained oddly busy this winter. Hope it is a harbinger of the year to come! I also cannot focus with a tiny adorable one doing all sorts of bad all the time!The other day I was trying to do a check out with one hand while talking on the phone. Needless to say none of those endeavors went well...In fact the phone caller was quite offended by me as I could not juggle all at the same time!It will get easier soon! At least I finished clearing out the junk zone in the basement and reorganized the attic which netted us 1,000.00 dollars at auction! ( none of the items sold for more than 1.00)So you get the picture... Hope to see all of you here to enjoy this magnificent spring for yourselves!
