Verdant, historic gardens are anchored by beautiful old trees, topiaries and specimens in the English tradition of formality balanced by lush plantings. Our gardens and grounds offer several opportunities for relaxation. Enjoy the front porch with antique rockers or one of our several seating areas throughout the grounds, all furnished with lovingly restored, antique iron furniture with custom-made cushions. Feel free to enjoy the company of other guests or your privacy throughout our home and gardens.

Inside the house, enjoy the intact, original details in the heart of pine floors, simple Arts and Crafts moldings and working fireplaces that enhance the superior layout of this beautifully built and lovingly restored and maintained home. We are careful to nod to the history of the property, but not to be enslaved by it. Our dining room is complete with an original working fireplace and individual tables for two, all set with our collection of fine china, crystal and silver. The living room offers plush seating, fireplace and several fine, old oil paintings. Up the unique stairway, you will find a large, open gallery which accommodates the computer station, video and book library and indoor and outdoor seating areas. We continue to upgrade and improve our Inn every year.

Our guest rooms are all completely individual. Most offer king-sized luxury mattresses with a mix of down and down alternative pillows and all have private baths ensuite. All but the Dogwood Room have working fireplaces, making us a desirable destination during the winter months.
